YouTube 2013 Hacking! NEW CHANNEL LAYOUT FLAW! Mar 9th 2013, 00:27 YouTube 2013 Hacking! NEW CHANNEL LAYOUT FLAW! UPDATES: AS OF 11:48 AM IT APPEARS THE FLAW HAS BEEN FIXED. YouTube Channels - so far mostly only users in the Top 100 YouTube Subscriber area are being hacked, this is to do with a new vulnerability caused by YouTube rolling out of the new YouTube One Channel layout. If haven't upgraded your channel to the new layout you are STILL VULNERABLE, however, it appears that hackers can only change the Channel Bio on your page - whereas if you are on the new layout they can do more damage - they can add videos to your front page - usually it's 'Booty Shaking Videos.' Passwords have nothing to do with it so far - from what I can tell, changing your password won't protect you - hackers access your channel without even using your password. However they seem to only have control over modifying your channel - they don't have access to your video uploads, settings etc. --------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed.
